Save a little cash and reduce your environmental impact this holiday season. Marion County Environmental Services is hosting a FREE toy swap! Bring any gently used, clean toys Friday, December 6th to Faith Lutheran Church from 9am to 1pm or visit the drop off map for locations through Salem and Keizer. Then on Saturday, December 7th from 9 am -11 am shop for free to find toys and gadgets for your loved ones.
Please help keep this a Waste Less Event. We will not accept the following:
- Dirty, broken, ripped, chipped, ragged, chewed, marked items
- Baby gear (car seats, strollers, cribs, play yards)
- Anything with missing parts or in disrepair
- Items with possible cutting, choking, or lead hazards
- Oversized items may be accepted at our discretion

Too Many Leaves? Keep your storm drains and streets clear and bring your leaves to the Fall Leaf Haul! This is a free event for Salem residents. Residential leaves, grass clippings, and tree limbs are accepted. Residential leaves only– no commercial landscapers. Thanks to the contributions of the City of Salem, Marion County - Environmental Services, and numerous neighborhood volunteers. For additional information, call the City of Salem at 503-588-6311.
