Blue Jean Swap
The Blue Jean swap at the Salem Public Library was a huge success. Thanks to the partnership with the Salem Public Library, over 100 folks left with new-to-them jeans and over 250 jeans were donated. Many thanks to Dotty Tessler (Master Recycler), Anisa Rodriguez Foroughi, Chris Doner and daughter Amanda, and Annabella Ramey for volunteering the day of the swap. Unclaimed jeans were donated to local family shelters. |
Free Paint Suspended The FREE paint available at the Salem-Keizer and North Marion recycling and transfer stations is currently suspended. We hope to offer free, recycled paint in Spring 2017. If you would still like to use recycled paint for your next project, Metro recycled paint comes in a variety of colors (see their website for examples and local stores). Prices depend on color and quantity. |
