Blue Bag Fundraising   Blue Jeans Swap

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative (OBRC) is excited to introduce a new fundraising opportunity through BottleDrop Redemption Centers – the Fundraiser Blue Bag program. Fundraiser Blue Bags can be used by nonprofit organizations to collect deposit cans and bottles and easily receive the refunds through a fundraising account at BottleDrop.

To become a Featured Fundraiser and have access to the Fundraiser Blue Bag program, nonprofits can apply online at BottleDropCenters.com/Fundraising

 

Blue Jeans Swap

Did you know it takes about 1,800 gallons of water to produce the cotton in a pair jeans? Stop the waste and participate in the Back to School Jeans Swap

Drop off blue jeans-any size, clean and in good condition-at Salem Public Library's adult, children, or teen Ask Here desks from Tuesday, August 16 , through 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3. Donors may select "new" jeans from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Anderson Rooms A&B. Refreshments and a Blue Jean recycling craft will be provided. For more information visit the facebook event page!

Salem Environmental Education LLC (SEE) invites you to learn more about the environment and discover adventure in your backyard. The Environmental Issues Series and Outdoor Adventures kicks off September 21st at 7pm at the Louck's Auditorium (Salem Public Library) with a panel to talk about Public Land Issues.
