Performances Resume for Holidays at the Capitol

Starting with the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec 2 from 5-7pm, local schools and community groups will perform each Monday through Saturday until Dec 24.

Reminder - Rule 27 Training

Remember, we all must complete Rule 27 Respectful Workplace training annually. If you have not yet registered for training, the Legislative Equity Office has a self-registration portal, or you can email Lacey to register for you. 

The remaining training dates are: 

  1. December 11, 2025 | 1pm to 3pm ​

  2. January 12, 2026 | 10am to 12pm

  3. February 13, 2026 | 10am to 12pm

  4. February 13, 2026 | 1pm to 3pm

  5. ​February 27, 2026 | 10am to 12pm

Capitol Store Update

We are down to our final few pieces of the 1938 Doors in the store. If you've put off picking up your piece of history, now is the time to act. 

We still have marble paperweights available, which make an excellent once-in-a-lifetime gift!

Short Session Incoming

In January, we will have Legislative Days from Jan 13-15. Then, on Feb. 2 the Legislative Session begins. As it is an even numbered year, this session will last 35 days. Session will conclude in early March.
