Sunday marked the Constitutional Sine Die of the 2023 Oregon Legislative Session. It is an honor of a lifetime to serve the people of House District 53.
It’s been a rollercoaster session, but in the end, we delivered. Sometimes I still need to pinch myself that we were able to bring home dollars for Alyssa’s law. I know our schools and our students will be better served with these sophisticated safety tools in place.
We focused on housing affordability, improved behavioral health and addiction services, stronger schools, public safety, support for small businesses and a fair, robust economy.
There’s more to do. I am looking forward to focusing attention on e-bike safety, housing supply and short-term rentals in the interim.
