Bi Weekly Clips - COVID is probably coming back and the governor’s race
Oregon State Legislature sent this bulletin at 10/18/2022 10:48 AM PDTReaders:
Welcome to the delayed unedited and uncensored bi-weekly clips prepared by other young Oregonians for your consideration with corporate and government media sources. It was delayed as I was winterizing rural farm properties out of internet range. More below.
Unfortunately, many links continue to be regularly censured or blocked by corporate and government media in the USA and Europe once the clips are sent.
The bi-weekly clips for your consideration:

Title: COVID is probably coming back and the governor’s race
COVID-19
This article describes the executive order Joe Biden signed to extend the mRNA technology into the flu shots.
Is the next pandemic brewing in the Netherlands? “American and European officials assert that their inspection and culling programs are sufficient to keep HPAI-infected poultry out of the food supply, and that people won’t become ill from eating properly prepared poultry, anyway. But in Indonesia and elsewhere in Asia, programs to reimburse chicken farmers for culling flocks when bird flu is detected simply do not exist. So they sell their sick birds, still living, for consumption.”
San Diego high schools report 1,100 absences in one week due to “respiratory outbreak”. This just sounds a lot like setting the stage for the COVID freakout after the election.
How church leaders aligned with Fauci to discredit experts opposed to COVID mandates.
Dr. Fauci is back talking about new omicron subvariants that are ‘troublesome’.
COVID is still politically expedient! POLITICO reports: China’s COVID lockdowns spell relief for Europe’s energy security worries. Low gas demand in China has played a key role in keeping liquefied natural gas flowing to the EU this year.
California allegedly planning to end COVID state of emergency in February. Why then? Arbitrary.
OREGON
Biden came to Oregon and got ice cream with Tina Kotek and said the economy is “strong as hell”.
Oregon’s rogue freight advisory committee might have finally overstepped.
COVID cases stay flat. Remember this when they start hyping the booster shots. The Biden Admin is already ‘scrambling’ to get people boosted before the winter.
Under federal $1 billion agreement, Oregon will expand Medicaid coverage.
Nike’s Phil Knight donates $1 million to gubernatorial candidate Christine Drazan, after donating over $2 million to Betsy Johnson earlier this year. He has said he wants the governor position out of Democrats’ hands.
Here’s where Oregon governor candidates diverge on addressing homeless crisis.
One of the biggest question marks is how important abortion is to Oregonians in the upcoming gubernatorial race. Overturning Roe v. Wade did not change Oregon’s lax abortion laws at all, but instead made it a state’s rights issue for the entire country. This fact hasn’t stopped many Oregonians from being worried about it, which is why both Tina Kotek and Betsy Johnson are campaigning as pro-choice. Christine Drazan is pro-life.
By contrast, Johnson has outraised the other candidates, and is the “maverick” who answers only to Oregonians and not a political party.
Does Drazan stand a chance at winning the governor? All the polls and national press make it look possible, which says a lot more than any previous Republican campaigns for the state’s highest office. There’s no denying that her campaign has been expertly run.
Biden coming to Kotek’s “aide” was embarrassing. Multiple Democrat candidates in swing districts did not want him to visit their campaigns because a visit by his elderly self would do more harm than good. Kate Brown wasn’t even here.
Oregon has always been a solidly blue state and to see the excitement around two women, Drazan and Johnson, who are not the far-left “status quo” has been fascinating.
NATIONAL
You can’t eat without natural gas.
Power without authority: Compromised elites, parties fleeing their constituencies, and voters losing confidence: it’s no wonder so many people want something better.
The real Democrats – who are they?
Americans are seething over illegal immigration.
Leftist media trying to pretend that the election is about the survival of “democracy” and not that the economy is in shambles and Americans are struggling to pay for food and gas.
Poll show gas prices are top concern for Americans going into the midterm election.
USDA plans major reforms to curb salmonella in poultry.
Democrats focused on abortion and worry they’re losing Independent women.
RUSSIA/UKRAINE
The New Yorker: Inside the U.S. effort to arm Ukraine. Since the start of the Russian invasion, the Biden Administration has provided valuable intelligence and increasingly powerful weaponry—a risky choice that has paid off in the battle against Putin.
Literary theorists are wondering about how the war will end.
Russia hits Ukraine’s capital with wave of kamikaze drones made by Iran. US says Iranian drones breach sanctions. Why are protests in Iran getting so much MSM coverage/support, when they should be the “bad guys” for supplying weapons to Russia?
As The New York Times reports on Iran: “The demonstrations began after a 22-year-old, Mahsa Amini, died in police custody on Sept. 16, having been arrested for violating Iran’s law requiring women to wear head scarves fully hiding their hair. This weekend, the protests spread to at least 80 cities, and demonstrators briefly seized control of a city in northwestern Iran. In response, the country’s security forces have opened fire on crowds.” Even children are joining the protests.
Threats of nuclear war are increasing, but yet it’s apparently safe enough for a musical duo from Ohio to “provide aide” in Ukraine.
Elon Musk says SpaceX has withdrawn request for Pentagon to fund Starlink in Ukraine.
Moscow and Kyiv swap women prisoners for sailors.
AFGHANISTAN
Since the Taliban takeover, Afghans hoping to leave have much fewer ways to get out.
Al Jazeera reporting so take it with a grain of salt, but if true, this is disturbing: “The United States has assured Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers that Washington will not fund any armed groups or non-state actors in the country, Taliban sources have told Al Jazeera.” Why are American leaders assuring the Taliban, an extremist Islamist political movement that shares some concepts of jihad with Al-Qaeda, the group behind 9/11 of anything? This makes America look unbelievably weak.
The Taliban have removed women from public life. Where are the American “feminists” on this? The MSM is quick to uplift women in Iran, but silent on them in Afghanistan.
Germany has a new program to relocate 1,000 at-risk Afghans suffering persecution at the hands of the Taliban every month. Civil society members and minorities are considered most at-risk.
NY Post reports: “Republican lawmakers have asked the State Department to preserve documents and renewed a long-ignored request that the agency make 34 federal employees available to testify about last year’s chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan.”
Afghanistan’s money and economy are crumbling.
Washington Post is trying to blame the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, ordered by Biden, on the January 6 events and Trump. Love the man or hate him, this is a journalist platform attempt to change what happened.

For the most part, I have been off the internet as there is not access at the rural farm properties. Observations in italics from the pickup radio yesterday afternoon and internet last night.
Gas prices. This topic got lots of comments in the past clips which we will follow up in the next clips. Recall three weeks ago, the North Stream sabotage resulted in crude jumping from $76 bbl to $82 bbl, yet, consumer prices jumped a dollar per gallon. Zero correlation. Nord Steam status today. Crude prices today. While farm winterizing, diesel fuel was up to $5.89 gallon in Oregon, 5.19 in Idaho, and $5.09 in Nevada but jumped around between rural towns as much as 50 cents over 50 miles. Zero correlation to refinery distances. The Biden Administration and chicken hawks in the US Congress (Democrat and Republican) continue to blame Russia, and now OPEC, but specifically Russia and Saudi Arabia collaboration. White House link. False flag nonsense. FYI, OPEC has cooperated very closely with Russia and other non-OPEC producers for decades. Gas prices are high purely due to US Government failures: the white oligarch war and regulation failures. AAA prices today.
Inflation. Suggest you do your own research on ‘consumer inflation’ verses ‘supply side inflation’ which are opposites. Consumer is based on demand while supply side today is based on production issues. Some economists call it pull verses push inflation. Quite complex but critical to understand. Today, both are caused by the US Government (USG), including Congress (D/R) and the European Union governments, inclusive of to their UN proxies. Good research topic as every household (owner or renter) will be impacted for years. Some inflation links: NPR link, CBS link, Fox link, Fortune link.
See how Latin America is tackling US EU government caused inflation. Link. And BRICS is expanding against the white US/EU dollar oligarchs as well. Link. Is it time for the US Government to change directions?
White Oligarch War. Saw last night on the news, the USG and NATO are working hard to expand the ground war in Ukraine to a world-wide nuclear war. Reuters link. The US Government has sent nuclear forces to drill with NATO and white Europe. Euro News link. Be prepared as only a fool thinks North America will be spared in World War III. Socialist link. Noticed yesterday, Biden ‘declared’ US citizens working in China must leave China or lose U.S. citizenship which looks to the commoner to be war preparation. Probably not legal but certainly China will see it as white racism along with an act of war. Odd even the UK is helping China prepare for war instead of the USG. Noted last night on social media that the white backed U.S. proxy war in Ethiopia involving millions of civilian and troops is getting little attention given the USG and EU could care less about any Africans, Asians or Latins?
Seems to me maybe diplomacy and peace talks are better for American families and the working poor than the DC Swamp's expansion of war? Or does expanding the war have to do with mid-term elections? Maintaining the failing status quo?
Warning. If your only news source is the corporate and government media then never expect to find the truth to make informed decisions. Almost all so-called broadcast and internet news is opinion and propaganda that you must sift through to make informed decisions. Both sides, actually multiple sides, are to blame for failing produce real news. Find all you can then make informed decisions.
Be prepared. Be informed. Be safe. Organize locally. Vote wisely as your life may depend upon your choices now.
Government serves government not the People.
De oppresso.
Sincerely,
Brian Boquist
