Friends -

A quick note with a few updates on this sunny afternoon here in Salem:

Office Hours

Please join me for "Virtual Office Hours" throughout the 2021 legislative session, since the Capitol is still closed, I'll use this time to hear from constituents on matters of importance.  I hope you'll join me next Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 from 12-12:30pm on zoom - please click here (Meeting ID: 850 5321 7346 / Passcode: 136126) to join the meeting.

Protection for Businesses

HB 2638 would provide our businesses with equitable limited liability protections against any act or omission during the COVID-19 emergency period. The Oregon Legislature passed similar protections for both public and private schools late last year.

Remember, you can submit written testimony up to 24 hours after the scheduled start time of the committee meeting at which a bill is listed on the agenda for a public hearing, for more information on how to submit, click here.

In the interim if we can be of help to you as you navigate your state government please call or email. My door is always open and my staff, Pam McClain, Lena Prine, and I welcome your participation. As your state representative, I am here to listen, respond, and lead. Please be safe.
