Friends,
As we enter the last month of this unprecedented year, it is with hope and gratitude that I reach out to you. Despite what we have faced, or perhaps in light of it all, I hope you had a meaningful Thanksgiving.
Quick Updates
Medicare Open Enrollment
The Medicare annual enrollment period ends on Monday, December 7th. Beneficiaries have only a limited amount of time remaining to evaluate multiple coverage options to determine what plan works best. Medicare plans and drug formularies change each year, so it is important for Oregonians who are enrolled in Medicare to evaluate their options during this time period. The Oregon Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance program is available to help remotely. Please see https://healthcare.oregon.gov/shiba/pages/index.aspx or call 800-722-4134 for more information.
FEMA Application Deadline Has Passed but Help Still Available
The Nov. 30 deadline to apply for FEMA disaster assistance has passed, but help is still available for wildfire survivors as FEMA continues working with the Oregon Office of Emergency Management. Please visit www.disasterassistance.gov for more details or https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance.
New Executive Order
Please find the link below to the new Executive Order (EO) that was posted by the Governor this morning, as well as the new guidance for the new metrics that are effective as of December 3rd.

In the interim if we can be of help to you as you navigate your state government please call or email. My door is always open and my staff, Pam McClain, Lena Prine, and I welcome your participation. As your state representative, I am here to listen, respond, and lead.
