The Senators will also discuss the Legislature’s September 2020 Economic and Revenue Forecast which was released last week as well as the continued impact of the global pandemic on lives and businesses in our state.

Senator Betsy Johnson (D-Scappoose) is serving her fourth term in the Oregon Senate. In the 2019 - 20 Legislative Session, Senator Johnson served as the Co-Chair for two of her five committees - the Joint Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee on Legislative Audits. She is also a member of the Joint Committee on Legislative Policy and Research, Joint Committee on Information Management and Technology and the Joint Committee on Ways and Means Subcommittee on Capital Construction.
Senator Johnson previously served on numerous local, regional and national boards and commissions, including the Oregon Health Sciences University Foundation, Doernbecher Children's Hospital, the Oregon Public Broadcasting Foundation, and the High Desert Museum. Senator Johnson currently serves on several regional boards and was recently elected a member of the Board of Visitors at the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. She also serves as the President of the Samuel S. Johnson Foundation.
