I am very pleased to let you know that SB 543 – Children’s Service Districts - has been scheduled for a hearing at 1 PM on Wednesday April 24, in the House Committee on Human Services and Housing in Hearing Room 50 at the Capitol.
If you are not able to make it to Salem to testify in person regarding this bill but want to have your voice heard in support of SB 543, you are encouraged to send in written testimony. Be sure to send it in .pdf format to hhs.exhibits@oregonlegislature.gov. Once your testimony has been received committee staff will upload it on to O.L.I.S. (Oregon Legislative Information System) for access by Committee Members, Legislators, and the general public.
I understand that not everyone can come visit the Capitol in person. Of course, if you do have plans to stop by for a visit during the week, be sure to contact my office in advance at 503-986-1715 or send me an email at sen.chuckriley@oregonlegislature.gov to schedule a time to meet with me.
As always, I am here to serve you. If there is something I can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my office.
Sincerely,
Senator Chuck Riley
Senate District 15
