Greetings,
We are now 20 days into
the Legislative Session and I want to inform you of an event we are hosting, highlight
some of the work that has been ongoing and reiterate my legislative
priorities for this session.
What:
Q&A with Representative Sanchez
When:
Saturday, March 18th, 2017 from 9am-10am
Where:
PCC Cascade, Student Union Room 203/204
I am excited to announce that I have sponsored
legislation in a wide array of issues relating to housing affordability, the
rights of foster care youth, and protecting our environment by limiting diesel

We have a great amount of work to accomplish, and I am grateful to be assigned as Vice-Chair of the Human Services and Housing Committee, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, and to the budget-writing Joint Ways and Means Subcommittee on Public Safety.
I remain committed to working for reforms in the Department of Human Services, especially related to our foster care system; to advocating for the creation of more long-term affordable housing, and conservation of our natural resources; and pushing to make our criminal justice system more humane.
Aishen (Thank You),
Representative Tawna Sanchez
