We're all learners. Rest assured that our focus is still on creating an inclusive and effective learning environment for all.
Celebrating Success 🎓
Since January 1, we've had the pleasure of celebrating 2,996 Oregon GED® test graduates. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of both students and educators. Congratulations to all!
Tips for GED® Test Preparation 📖
Helping learners prepare for the GED® test is at the heart of what we do. Here are some practical tips that can make a significant difference:
- Effective Study Techniques: Encourage learners to discover their unique learning styles and use study methods that suit them best.
- Stress Management: Provide guidance on managing test-related stress and anxiety through relaxation techniques or mindfulness exercises.
- Creating a Study Schedule: Help learners create realistic study schedules that balance their other commitments.
GED® Test Accommodations 🕒
The GED Testing Service is continuously working to make the test more accessible. Accommodations are available on a case-by-case basis and can include extra testing time, breaks, or a separate testing room. To apply for accommodations, please visit this link.
GED® Playbook for Educators 📘
The GED® Playbook is a valuable resource for adult education program directors, managers, and instructors. It serves as a comprehensive guide to navigate the GED® test program effectively. Some highlights include:
- Teacher Checklist: A handy tool to ensure all aspects of teaching are covered.
