Statewide Veterans Day Celebration in Salem

For the first time since its construction, the Oregon WWII Memorial will serve as the location for the Statewide Veterans Day Celebration on November 11 at 3:00 PM.
The one-hour program features guest speakers, patriotic music, posting of the colors, pledge of allegiance, singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and more. Event details here. |
New ODVA blog features veteran news in your community
Oregon veterans now have a gathering place for news and events all around the state in one convenient spot! ODVA's new blog showcases stories from local communities, with featured guest columnists from within the veteran service provider network and a calendar of upcoming events.
The blog is part of ODVA's strategy to put information at veterans' fingertips, including highlighting changes to state and federal veteran benefits and making news searchable by topic of interest (whether service era or issue area). Find news about women veterans, WWII vets, or entrepreneurship - it's all there!
