TAC formation discussed at RVACT
MEDFORD — Formation of a Technical Advisory Committee to screen future transportation projects will be discussed at the next Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation meeting set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 at the ODOT offices, 100 Antelope Road in White City. The RVACT meeting is open to the public. Time is set aside for public input.
TACs typically consist of transportation-oriented engineers from represented jurisdictions who evaluate projects from a technical standpoint. Currently, the Rogue Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization selects projects with the help of a TAC.
The May agenda also includes updates on: ConnectOregon V, local construction projects, and Oregon Transportation Commission business.
ODOT attempts to hold all public meetings in accessible buildings. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities, and alternate formats of printed material are available upon request. Please call Gary Leaming at 541-774-6388 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting (or statewide relay 7-1-1).
