ODOT Trucking Advisory: Night closures on I-105 and I-5 in Eugene

Oregon Department of Transportation sent this bulletin at 07/07/2011 03:39 PM PDT

EUGENE: Over the next few weeks, there will be a series of weekend and night time closures involving exit ramps to and from Interstate 105 and Interstate 5 in Eugene. In addition, I-105 where it crosses over I-5 will be closed for a weekend.

  • Beginning July 20, the I-5 northbound on-ramp from I-105 eastbound will be closed intermittently between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night until Sept. 1. Detour: Take I-105 to Delta Highway, Oregon 569/Randy Papé Beltline Highway eastbound, enter I-5.
  • Beginning July 20, the I-5 southbound Exit 194A off-ramp to Oregon 126 eastbound will be closed intermittently between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night until Sept. 1. Detour: Take Exit 191 and cross over the freeway, re-enter I-5 northbound, take Exit 194A to Oregon 126 eastbound.
  • In addition, these ramps will also be closed for the entire weekend - 8 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, until 6 a.m. Aug. 15.

I-105 eastbound milepost 3.45 to milepost 3.55 (Crossing over I-5)
This section of I-105 eastbound where it crosses over I-5 will be closed to all traffic for the entire weekend - 8 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, until 6 a.m. Aug. 15. Detours will be:

  • Eastbound I-105 to northbound I-5: Take I-105 to Delta Highway, Oregon 569/Randy Papé Beltline Highway eastbound, enter I-5.
  • Eastbound I-105 to Oregon 126 eastbound: Enter I-5 southbound, take Exit 191 and cross over the freeway, re-enter I-5 northbound, take Exit 194A to Oregon 126 eastbound.
