DMV Headquarters, call centers close early

 

 

Because of worsening weather, DMV has closed many offices and might close others early

 

 

Many DMV offices are closed or are closing early Friday because of worsening road conditions. DMV Headquarters and its call centers, along with all other state offices in the Salem area, closed as of 11 a.m.
DMV suggests that people delay their travel while weather and road conditions persist, even if their local DMV remains open.
Although DMV is unable to provide customer service by telephone Friday afternoon, people still can find answers to many of their questions at OregonDMV.com. DMV’s online services, including vehicle registration renewal, will remain available 24/7.

The following DMV offices are affected by Friday’s weather conditions as of noon, but more offices may close before 5 p.m.:

 

 

PORTLAND METRO AREA

 

Beaverton – CLOSED
Downtown Portland – CLOSED
Gladstone – CLOSED
Gresham – CLOSED
Hillsboro – CLOSED
Hood River – no drive tests today
Lake Oswego – CLOSED
North Portland – CLOSED
Northeast Portland – CLOSED
Sandy – will open late once employees are able to arrive
Sherwood – CLOSED
Southeast Portland – CLOSED

Astoria – CLOSED
Bend - traction tires required on all Class C drives/CDL drives canceled
Corvallis – no drives / office will close for lunch noon to 1:30 p.m.
