OR213: BUTTE CREEK (Jack’s) BRIDGE
OR213: (Hwy. 160, Cascade Highway South, mile points 24.02 to 24.40)
This is a bridge replacement project across Butte Creek at the Marion County and Clackamas County line. This is a two season project with bridge replacement, roadway re-alignment, earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving, guard-railing, striping, signing and other improvements to Cascade Highway South (Oregon 213), starting just south of the intersection with Wagon Road and ending just north of the Butte Creek (Jack’s) Bridge, in Marion County.
Intermittent, temporary lane closures may occur daily on OR213, Cascade Highway South.
OR 18: NEWBERG – DUNDEE BYPASS (Phase 1B)
OR 18: (Hwy. 39, Salmon River Highway, mile points 55.87 to 59.66)
This is a grading, drainage and structures project to begin the development of a new bypass highway alignment connecting OR219 (Hwy. 140, Hillsboro – Silverton Highway) to OR99W (Hwy. 1W, Pacific Highway West), in Yamhill County. This is the second contract for the multi-phase roadway connecting these two cities with a new route along the Willamette River. Most all of the work occurs away from current state highways. Impacts to OR99W (near Niederberger Road) at Dundee and OR219 (near Wynooski Road) at Newberg, will be the due to the trucking of excavated material leaving the project and the importing of stone embankment material coming to the project. Impacts should be limited to trucks entering and leaving the project.
Intermittent, temporary traffic delays may occur, controlled by flaggers on 99W and on OR219.
FFO I-5 @ OR214 Interchange (Woodburn) Development
OR219/OR214: (Hillsboro – Silverton Highway, mile points 36.24 to 37.87) & (I-5, mile posts 271.53 to 276.01)
This is an interchange modernization project that includes widening the existing bridge over I-5, new interchange ramps, reconstruction and widening of OR219 / OR214 from Willow Ave. to Broughton Way, re-alignment of Arney Road, construction of a new transit facility at Evergreen Road, construction of sound walls, new signing, new illumination and more.
Motorists can expect intermittent night time lane closures on I-5, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. northbound and 7 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. southbound, Monday through Friday.
Motorists should expect intermittent night time traffic delays on OR219 & OR214 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Friday.
OR22: VERTICAL CLEARANCE PROJECT
OR22: Hwy. 162, North Santiam Highway, mile points 1.9 (I-5) to 5.2 (Joseph Street), 5.9 (72nd Ave O’xing) and 10.0 (Albus Rd O’xing)
This project will improve the vertical clearance over the highway at four overcrossings and resurface the highway between I-5 and Joseph Street. At the Lancaster Avenue (MP 1.9) and Cordon Road (MP 2.8) overcrossings the work will consist of lowering the highway approximately 3 feet. This work will be done in stages. The 72nd Avenue (MP 5.9) and Albus Road (MP 10.0) overcrossings will be raised approximately 3 feet. The highway will be resurfaced between I-5 (MP 1.7) and Joseph Street (MP 5.2). This resurfacing will correct drainage issues on the highway in this section.
OR22: I-5 – Joseph Street (MP 1.9 – 5.2) – Starting on August 19, traffic on OR 22 between the Deer Park/Gaffin Road interchange and Joseph Street will be down to one lane in each direction until the completion of paving on Friday, September 13. In addition, the Deer Park/Gaffin Road eastbound on ramp and Joseph Street westbound on ramp will be closed during this time period. However, all lanes on OR 22 will be open during the Labor Day weekend.
The detour for the Deer Park/Gaffin ramp closure is Ganon Drive, to 71st Street, to Joseph Street, to OR 22; and for the Joseph Street closure is to 71St Street, to Ganon Drive, to OR 22.
Speed will be reduced to 45 MPH in the work zone. Expect work on the shoulders.
OR22: 72nd Avenue SE (MP 5.9) – The 72nd Avenue overcrossing is now open.
OR22: Albus Road SE (MP 10.0) – The Albus Road overcrossing is now open.
