Here is an estimated timeline for restoring the historic Salem Railroad Baggage Depot and updating the surrounding area:

  • Fall 2013: conduct preliminary work
  • Early 2014: issue request-for-proposals; get bids
  • Summer 2014: begin construction

 We'll know more about this after the initial work is completed by the current contractors.
