Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet March 14 in Salem

 

The Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Natural Resource Center, 3415 Commercial Street S.E., Salem, Oregon 97302.

 

The meeting agenda includes:

• MAP 21 NHS standards: Vertical clearance & lane width proposals
• Weather related language in single trip permits
• New FMCSA rules
• March household goods enforcement action results
• Overview of how test runs are conducted
• New Highway Division policy on roundabouts
• GovDelivery subscriber update

 

The Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee, the longest-running advisory group of its kind in ODOT’s history, is composed of representatives of organizations having an interest in motor carrier programs to maintain a high level of service to the regulated industries. Its purpose is to confer, collaborate, advise and advocate.
