To notify Certified Local Public Agencies (LPAs) and Certification User Group stakeholders about the following:

  1. The self-audit form is being revised for 2022 and each agency will receive agency-specific self-audit forms and project lists via email within the next few weeks.
  2. CPO is hosting a Self-Audit Workshop for Certified LPAs on May 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm.

BULLETIN INFORMATION:

  1. Self-Audit and related forms: In May, the CPO will issue a revised Certified LPA Self-Audit Form (form 734-5152) for 2022. Revisions to the form are minor and changes to self-audit questions reflect ongoing assessment of risk areas. Each Certified LPA will receive a Certification Status Report to review and verify the status of key certification requirements. CPO will send each Certified LPA an agency-specific form, project list and certification status report to complete their self-audit. The self-audit form, including a completed sample, will also be available on the Certification Guidance and Forms webpage under the Compliance drop-down list. The due date is July 1, 2022.
  2. Self-Audit Workshop: On May 19, 2022 at 1 pm, the CPO will host a Self-Audit Workshop virtually via Teams. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview of the purpose of the self-audit and the process for completing the self-audit, and to answer any specific questions Certified LPA staff may have. The CPO highly recommends the Certified LPA staff person primarily responsible for completing the self-audit form attends the workshop, particularly if the staff person is new either to the agency or their role. The primary Certification Program contact at each agency received a Teams meeting invitation to the workshop.
