Welcome to the Construction Training and Certification January newsletter. In this issue, we will provide important information, updates, and resources that will help you plan for needed training and certification in the 2022 training season.

2022 Challenge Exams
Due to the extension of state building closures to the public, we are unable to hold the recently announced challenge events at the ODOT Salem Materials Lab. We are now offering 4 events at the Salem Chemeketa Center for Business Industry for individuals who would like to challenge inspector certifications. This event is open to ODOT, consultants, local agencies and contractors.

Online Course Updates
The online ADA Curb Ramp Inspector and Traffic Signal Inspector Courses are currently offline while we update 2022 course materials. We hope to have them available to everyone in early February.
2022 ADA Curb Ramp Inspector Certification will now include an in-person curb ramp inspection field work exam so all learners may receive the full 2-year certification.
2022 Traffic Signal Inspector Certification will pilot an electronic exam so all learners may receive the full 3-year certification.

Construction Materials Technician Training
Construction material technician training will be administered through our Industry Partners: Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon, American Concrete Institute of Oregon and Oregon Concrete and Aggregate Producers Association.
