AV Task Force will accept public comments on its 2019 report until 8:00 a.m. Thursday

Salem, Ore. – The Task Force on Autonomous Vehicles met Sept. 9 to approve its draft 2019 report, which is available here on the Task Force website. All written public comments are included in the report appendix, starting on page 111.

Members of the public are welcome to submit additional comment letters. If you would like your comments to be included in the report appendix, please submit a comment letter to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us by 8:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. The Task Force report will be delivered to the Legislature later the same day.

The task force was created by House Bill 4063 which names 31 stakeholders as members, including: four legislators; state agency representatives; law enforcement, truck and automobile interests; technology company representatives; consumer interests; and, worker interests, among other stakeholders. 

Agendas for all task force and subcommittee meetings include time for public comment, which can be submitted in person or via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us.
