Promoting TIM here and across the nation

“When we arrive on scene…it’s vital that those different first responders are on the same page and that they’re looking out for each other.”

Our partners at the Federal Highway Administration are firm believers in the TIM program and one of our biggest supporters. Their help includes bringing in speakers for our Annual TIM Conference, rallying us to participate in peer exchanges and providing resources to promote our program. Their involvement in the TIM program here in Oregon and across the nation is critical.

Most recently, we were able to use their support to create a promotional video for our Oregon TIM Training. With over 6,588 responders trained in Oregon, we’ve trained about 25% of our total response community. Translation? We have work to do.

Now, we have a professional-grade video of responders talking about why TIM training is so important, and how to get involved. It’s short, snappy and to the point. It does the talking for us.

Check it out! Maybe you’ll see someone you know. And please share it broadly—with peers, partner agencies, friends and family, show it at crew meetings, post to your social media accounts. Help us spread the word and boost the number of folks trained in life-saving best practices.

A big thank you to our FHWA partners for their continued support of TIM and responders everywhere.
