EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD
I-5 Willamette River Bridge – Bundle 220
(I-5 milepost 192.8 in Eugene/Springfield)
Project summary: Replace the Interstate 5 Bridge over the Willamette River between Eugene and Springfield. Drivers will see minimal impacts on I-5 and long- term closures to Franklin Boulevard on- and off- ramps to I‑5.
Southbound I-5 and the Franklin Boulevard on-ramp (milepost 192.8): Watch for occasional shoulder closures and traffic controlled by flaggers. Watch for roadside work crews and equipment near the ramp intersection with I-5 southbound. Please drive carefully through the work zone.
Northbound I-5 at the Franklin Boulevard exit (milepost 192.8): Watch for roadside work crews and equipment. Please drive carefully through the work zone. The northbound Franklin Boulevard off-ramp (exit 192) is closed until October 2013; detour via exit 191 and Glenwood Boulevard.
Laurel Hill Valley Neighborhood: The northbound Franklin Boulevard off-ramp (exit 192) is open from Riverview Street to Franklin Boulevard. Expect occasional single-lane closures on the off-ramp west of Riverview Street. Watch for roadside work crews and equipment. Please drive carefully through the work zone.
Franklin Boulevard under I-5: Expect occasional single-lane closures in both directions under I-5. Watch for roadside work crews and construction vehicles entering and exiting the travel lanes at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Jenkins Drive. Watch for narrow roadway east of I-5. Please drive carefully and obey all construction signs and flagger directions.
Interstate 5 (between mileposts 192.0 and 193.5): Expect occasional nighttime single-lane and shoulder closures in both directions on I-5. Watch for construction vehicles entering travel lanes from the shoulder. Watch for temporary traffic signs, construction equipment and workers. Additional ODOT-authorized projects are also under way near the Willamette River Bridge project; please drive carefully through the work zones.
Alton Baker Park and Whilamut Natural Area users: North Walnut Road through the park is closed. Watch for signs directing park users to detour paths. On the bike path under Canoe Canal Bridge, watch for flaggers and expect brief delays for construction activity. North Bank Path under Interstate 5 is closed. Watch for signs directing bike and pedestrian traffic to the temporary detour. Flaggers will assist path users. Please obey all flagger instructions.
OR 99: Roosevelt to Garfield
Pacific Highway West: MP 121.14 to 122.19
Project Summary: This is a two year, $3.96 million project. Concrete panels that exist under a portion of the roadway will be removed, and the entire road width will be reconstructed. The structure over the railroad tracks will receive a waterproof membrane and resurfacing of the deck. Concrete medians will be replaced. One lane of traffic will be under construction throughout the project and one lane occupied by construction workers and equipment. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Remarks: Major construction operations schedule for 2011 are complete. Work on the remainder of the project will begin in spring 2012.

LANE COUNTY
OR 200: Bear Creek Bridge (Bundle 513)
Territorial Hwy.: MP 6.5 - MP 6.7
Project Summary: This project replaces the bridge across Bear Creek with a new Bridge. Completion is specified as May 31, 2012.
Remarks: The temporary traffic signal has been de-activated and traffic has been restored to two way. There may be occasional lane closures, but most work has been completed. Please watch for flagging operations.

OR 200: South Fork Siuslaw R. Bridge (Bundle 509)
Territorial Hwy.: MP 39.9 - MP 40.6; Contract Amount: $ 2.4 Million
Project Summary: This project replaces the bridge across The South Fork Siuslaw R. with a new bridge. Reconstruction of the intersection of Gowdyville Rd. is included. Completion is specified as April 30, 2013.
Remarks: Traffic has been restricted to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Please watch for flaggers directing traffic and construction vehicles leaving and entering the roadway.
