Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Elliot Street Bridge
Project Description: Crews will make repairs to the Elliot Street Bridge that spans I-5. This work is separate from the full weekend closure of the I-5 northbound lanes.
Traffic Impacts: Southbound night closures of I-5 between I-405 and the Wheeler on-ramp from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, May 1 through Thursday.
The North Greeley on-ramp to southbound I-5 will be closed. Use I-405 southbound to connect with I-5. To connect with I-84, use I-405 south and I-5 north.
Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Burnside Bridge Work (Multnomah County)
Project Description: Multnomah County is performing maintenance work on the Burnside Bridge.
Traffic Impacts: Interstate 5 southbound is closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. Monday between N Broadway and the Marquam Bridge.
Access from I-5 southbound to I-84 eastbound will remain open. Travelers on I-5 south will take Interstate 405 southbound as a detour. Congestion is expected near I-5 and the detour routes. Even on surface streets. If you are heading through Portland, consider using I-205.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Mosier to The Dalles (Region 4)
Project Description: This project will pave 8 miles of I-84 between Rowena and The Dalles and install new median barriers.
Traffic Impacts: Single lane closures in both directions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Some ramp closures from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Speed reduced to 50 mph. Sunday and Monday nights, eastbound Exit 82 on- and off-ramps will be closed. Tuesday and Wednesday nights, eastbound Exit 83 on- and off-ramps will be closed. Thursday night, the eastbound Exit 84 off-ramp will be closed.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Hood River Rockfall Repair
Project Description: This project will reduce the potential for future large rockfall events just west of Hood River by improving slope stability and installing a vegetated roadside barrier to prevent rocks from entering the highway.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts. This project is complete.

U.S. 26 – Sunset Highway – Cornelius Pass Road to 185th Avenue
Project Description: This project will widen U.S. 26 to three lanes in each direction between Cornelius Pass Road and NW 185th Avenue, replace the two Rock Creek bridges with one bridge, improve the north side of the Cornelius Pass Road interchange and build a sound wall on the north side of U.S. 26 in the Rock Creek neighborhood.
Traffic Impacts: Night lane closures on U.S. 26 Tuesday to Thursday. Daytime shoulder closures on U.S. 26 (between Cornelius Pass Road and NW 185th Avenue).
At the Rock Creek Trail, flaggers will be directing users. Expect periodic trail closures of up-to 20 minutes. From 10 p.m. Saturday, April 29 until midnight Monday morning, May 1, the Rock Creek Trail will be closed. Use NW Rock Creek Boulevard and NW Evergreen Parkway as detours.
The variable message sign on U.S. 26 east (located in the center median between Cornelius Pass Road and 185th Avenue) has been turned off and will remain off through June.

U.S. 26 – Sunset Highway – Regional Connections Project
Project Description: This project is the next phase of ODOT RealTime, a system that provides real-time traffic information on roads to help travelers get where they're going more safely and efficiently. New electronic signs will be installed on U.S. 26 between I-405 and OR 217 and on I-84 between I-5 and I-205. New technology will be installed on TV Highway from OR 217 to Brookwood Parkway and on local Washington County roads. During sign installations on U.S. 26 and I-84, there will be several full nighttime freeway closures. Work will be complete in fall 2017.
Traffic Impacts: Day and night shoulder closures and periodic lane closures on Murray Boulevard (between U.S. 26 and Scholls Ferry Road). Periodic nighttime closures of the multi-use path along the south side of U.S. 26 (between SW 79th Avenue and SW Katherine Lane) with detours. Path users should expect a section of path reduced to 6 feet.

U.S. 26 – Mt. Hood Highway – Ross Island Bridge
Project Description: The Ross Island Bridge Rehabilitation Project is currently in the painting phase until 2017 after completing structural repair work in 2015. Crews will remove the existing paint and repaint the bridge’s steel structure the historic blue-green color it has worn since the 1960s. Work will occur over two years, during spring, summer and fall.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts. Some nighttime and/or weekend lane closures will be necessary at a later time and will be noted here when scheduled.

U.S. 26 – Mt. Hood Highway – east of Kiwanis Camp Road to Oregon Highway 35
Project Description: Construction of safety improvements to prevent severe and fatal crashes on an eight mile stretch of U.S. 26 (from east of Kiwanis Camp Road to east of the Mirror Lake Curves) and preserve the highway to Oregon Highway 35 is underway on Mt. Hood.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic lane closures in both directions (Mile point 50-52 at the Mirror Lake Curves) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

U.S. 30 Bypass – Lower Columbia River Highway – McNamee Road to Bridge Avenue
Project Description: This project will repave a seven-mile section of U.S. 30 (St. Helens Road) in both directions and replace ADA sidewalk ramps.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic lane closures for striping and manhole adjustments.

U.S. 30 Bypass – NE Lombard Street – 42nd Avenue Bike Lane
Project Description: ODOT is building a new, 450-foot long, 6-foot wide bike lane off the highway in the eastbound direction of NE Lombard Street under the NE 42nd Avenue Bridge. Work is expected to be complete in spring 2017.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

Oregon 8 – TV Highway – Cornelius Pass/TV Highway Intersection Project (Private Developer)
Project Description: As part of private development, construction is underway to extend Cornelius Pass Road south across TV Highway and the railroad tracks. Improvements on TV Highway also include adding a right turn lane on TV Highway eastbound and a left turn lane on TV Highway westbound for Cornelius Pass Road, adding new street lighting on the north side of TV Highway, and building a buffered bike lane on westbound TV Highway.
Traffic Impacts: Saturday, April 29, expect lane closures in both directions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single lane closures on westbound TV Highway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays. Expect flaggers directing traffic Monday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Single lane closure on southbound Cornelius Pass Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Oregon 8 – TV Highway – at OR 47 (Quince Street) Improvement Project
Project Description: In preparation for a project at OR 8 and OR 47 (Quince Street) in Forest Grove, utility work is underway through April 2017. The improvement project will begin in March 2017 and will build turn lanes for people driving on Quince Street and Pacific Avenue, as well as build bike lanes and make sidewalk upgrades.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic daytime lane closures on OR 8 and OR 47. Speed lowered to 30 MPH in the construction zone.

Oregon 99E – McLoughlin Boulevard – Utility Improvements (City of Milwaukie)
Project Description: The City of Milwaukie will improve and relocate utilities along OR 99E and the surrounding area.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime double lane closures of OR 99E southbound in Milwaukie (from SE Milport Road to SE Beta Street) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays. One southbound lane will remain open. Daytime single lane closures weekdays.

Oregon 99E – McLoughlin Boulevard – Harold to Harrison Paving
Project Description: This project will pave OR 99E in both directions between Harold Street in Portland to Harrison Street in Milwaukie. Also included in the project is replacing the Crystal Springs Bridge with a box culvert and reconstructing parts of the highway. Most lane closures will be at night. Four weekend closures of OR 99E northbound from Tacoma Street to Harold Street will take place in the summer. Work will be complete by the end of the year.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic single lane closures (SE Harrison to Tacoma Street) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. northbound and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. southbound.

Oregon 213 – SE 82nd Avenue – SE King Road to Mt. Scott Creek Bridge Project
Project Description: This project is the second phase of a three-year project to install new sidewalk curb ramps at the corner of major intersections. In fall 2017, the final phase will pave and add new sidewalk curb ramps between SE Lindy Street and SE King Road.
Traffic Impacts: Single lane closures on SE 82nd Avenue in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m (SE King Road to SE McBride Street).

Oregon 213 – SE 82nd Avenue – Intersection Improvement Projects
Project Description: This project will improve safety and increase traffic flow on SE 82nd Avenue (OR 213) at six intersections (E Burnside, SE Stark, SE Washington, SE Yamhill, SE Mill and SE Division streets) by upgrading the sidewalk ramps, traffic signals, and adding lighting. Additionally three enhanced crossing will be added for pedestrians at SE Ash Street, Salmon Street, and just north of SE Division Street at Portland Community College. ODOT is partnering with law enforcement for extra presence in the construction zone.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic single lane closures on SE 82nd Avenue between SE Division and E Burnside Streets from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Oregon 213 – SE 82nd Avenue – Waterline Abandonment Project (Clackamas River Water)
Project Description: Clackamas River Water will remove older, undersized waterlines and improve system hydraulics in advance of an ODOT paving project.
Traffic Impacts: Lane closures in both directions weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. between SE Glencoe Road and SE Clatsop Street. Periodic side street closures with detours.

Oregon 212 – Cascade Highway South – Embankment Work
Project Description: Crews are conducting investigative work on the hillside along OR 213 just north of South Freeman Road near Mulino.
Traffic Impacts: Please be aware and look for traffic changes. One lane of OR 213 will be open in both directions. Speed lowered to 45 mph between Union Hall Road and Mulino Road.
