Vista Ridge Tunnel washing starting 9 p.m. Friday
Expect multiple lane closures on U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) through the tunnel
ODOT crews will wash the inside of the Vista Ridge Tunnels on U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17.
Washing the inside of the Vista Ridge Tunnels requires alternating two-lane closures of eastbound and westbound U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) through the tunnels.
One lane of eastbound and westbound U.S. 26 will remain open at all times during the work. Ramps to and from Interstate 405 will remain open during the work. The Clay Street on-ramp to westbound U.S. 26 will be closed during the washing.
