Tuesday October 17th, 11:05 – 11:55 am
The Oregon Health Authority is proposing amendments to Oregon Administrative Rule related to the recognition criteria for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH) Program. These amendments include replacing the 5 STAR designation with a Health Equity designation, creating a new Tier 5, and evenly distributing PCPCH tier levels. The agency requests public comment on whether other options should be considered for achieving the rule’s substantive goals while reducing negative economic impact of the rule on business. Public comment will be heard during a hearing which will take place on Tuesday October 17th from 11:05 to 11:55 am PST. Details about the hearing and amendments are available in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Additional public comment will be accepted by Susan El-Mansy at susan.a.el-mansy@oha.oregon.gov up until 5:00 pm on Friday November 3rd, 2023.
Please see the PCPCH Program’s Summary of Proposed Revisions to the 2020 PCPCH Model for additional information on the revisions being proposed, which are expected to go into effect in Fall of 2024. The changes outlined in this document are the result of recommendations from the Standard Advisory Committee, Technical Advisory Groups, and OHA staff, as well as additional feedback provided by PCPCHs.
