New 2023 Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) related to Training Programs and HECC licensure

Greetings,

Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) has recently determined that an additional Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) dedicated to requirements for training program approval rules will be required for 2023 rulemaking.

OPS is now accepting applications to serve on this Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) in September 2023. OPS has already selected members to serve on two RACs (related to technical fixes and SB303) and now seeks participants to serve on this additional third RAC that will focus on rules related to training programs and the intersection with Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) licensure.

RAC members provide input on proposed administrative rules before they become effective and are an important part of the rulemaking process. RACs are comprised of individuals who have subject matter expertise, lived experience and who are likely to be affected by the proposed rules. The RAC process is designed to include a diversity of opinions and viewpoints. In addition to providing recommendations, RACs evaluate fiscal and racial impact of the proposed rules.

If you would like to serve on the 2023 Training Program RAC, please complete the application form (attached) and e-mail to: OHA.Psilocybin@odhsoha.oregon.gov by August 24th, 2023.

Sincerely,
The Oregon Psilocybin Services Team
