Summary:
During Week 07 (February 12 - 18, 2012), OSPHL reported that 9 specimens tested positive for influenza.
8 influenza-related hospitalizations have been reported during Week 07 for the Portland Tri-County metropolitan area. 24 influenza-related hospitalizations have been reported so far during the 2011-2012 season.
Outpatient visits for influenza-like illness (ILI) remains below the season threshold.
