Self-Sufficiency Administrative Rules Update - SNAP Program during COVID-19

The Oregon Department of Human Services has adopted one temporary rule amendment affecting the SNAP program effective April 2, 2021. The summary and rule text showing edits is attached and will be available soon from the SSP Recent Rule Making Site. The summary is below.

AMEND: 461-135-0660

RULE SUMMARY: OAR 461-135-0660 about SNAP; COVID-19, is being temporarily amended to extend the period during which ODHS shall waive the SNAP application interview requirements. It is also being amended to make clear that this waiver is continuously and retroactively effective for SNAP applications with a filing date of March 23, 2020 and after.
