LBL Cybersecurity and the state of Oregon Enterprise Information Services Cyber Security Services (EIS CSS) team are partnering to bring Cybersecurity Summits and Tabletop Exercises to communities across Oregon.

Data Equity Summit

The free, virtual summit, Building Sustainable Data Equity Practices, on Oct. 27–28 will explore equity-informed data governance practices and responsible approaches with artificial intelligence, which are essential to ensuring fair, effective services for all Oregonians. The summit is for people who gather program applicants' data, data analysts, managers and anyone who works with data around the state.

From September 8 to October 1, 2026, EIS will be hosting sessions for Purview eDiscovery Search Training. The purpose is to establish a common baseline of knowledge across participants, best practices, common pitfalls, search strategies, and practical workflows. *For those state agencies in GCC Environment only.

New Cyber Security Services Catalog

"Cybersecurity for the state of Oregon is about more than stopping every threat. It is about building practical, shared protections, making sound decisions early, and maintaining the ability to respond and recover when something goes wrong," stated State Chief Information Security Officer Ben Gherezgiher in the newly published version of the Cyber Security Services Service Catalog. The catalog describes the cybersecurity services delivered, coordinated, or governed by Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Cyber Security Services (CSS).

EIS Vendor Day

EIS hosted 25 vendor companies at its first Vendor Day. In the morning, EIS presented "Data Optimization with AI" followed by a robust question and answer session.
