July found our team focused on R*STARS training, testing, and helping agencies validate their processes. We'll continue these efforts through mid-August as we work with Wave 3 agencies to get ready for the September 19 Go-live event.

We're happy to share that we are on track and progressing through Wave 3 activities as planned. Here's a monthly view of what is already complete and what is upcoming:

OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement

Training Registration Now Open Registration is open to all state agency employees for OregonBuys virtual facilitated training courses for these system user roles: Accounts Payable (AP) Basic Purchasing (BP) Department Access (DA) Visit the project training webpage for course information and Workday registration links (Workday login required):

Phase II Usage and Statistics

Phase II OregonBuys functionality is already in use at Wave 1 and Wave 2 agencies (Wave 3 agencies will join in September). Here are the system usage statistics from August 2022 to present:

Did you know that NIGP codes are now included on the OregonBuys Active Statewide Price Agreement report?

This report can help agencies determine which contracts are available to meet their purchasing needs. This report can be found by clicking the 'Settings' gear, 'Reports', and then opening the Active Statewide Price Agreements report.
