Project update

November was full of activity and engagement with Wave 2 agencies in process design workshops. These workshops explain the procurement-related purchasing steps in OregonBuys so that agencies can identify and adjust their affected business processes to fit the system.

Process design workshops will continue through mid-December and then we'll shift to agency core team validation. These sessions allow agencies to review and validate that enterprise process scenarios will work for their agency. Wave 2 agency core team members in purchasing, procurement, and accounts payable roles will participate in the sessions.

OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement

State agency users—check your email address extension

State agency system users need to be sure that their OregonBuys profile includes the proper agency extension in their email address (first.last@agency.oregon.gov). Follow the instructions below to update your profile:

1. Log in to OregonBuys 2. Click on the person icon and select "My Account" 3. Click the "Edit" button next to My Information 4. Update your email address 5. Enter your current password to confirm profile change and click "Save & Exit"

Did you know that adding quotation marks around a search phrase (i.e., "Dell laptops") in the OregonBuys Marketplace will return results that match the entire phrase? Note: all Marketplace search results are prioritized by the Buy Decision.
