March marked the beginning of R*STARS testing and agency process validation sessions for Wave 1 agencies. Our team is also finishing facilitated training sessions that run through April 12, helping agencies with approval paths, resolving guidance questions, and gearing up for June 1 Go-live.
We're excited to share that system usage continues to grow and supplier registrations are up 74% compared to last April. There are now 16,352 suppliers registered in OregonBuys.
OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement
We want to share a reminder that we're currently in Phase II, Wave 1 of the project. This first wave is scheduled to Go-live in June 2022. Agencies enrolled in the second wave can expect to hear from us about a preparation forum that will take place in June. Wave 2 will officially kick-off at the end of June.

State agencies post intergovernmental agreements in OregonBuys as Master Blanket Purchase Orders. The other party on these agreements is known as the "supplier." Oregon Cooperative Procurement Program (OrCPP) members must register as a supplier in OregonBuys to be able to participate in these agreements.
Supplier registration doesn't replace the existing OrCPP organization account; however, it does require entering your organization's Tax ID number.
If you're trying to register and get an error that your Tax ID is already in use, contact the OregonBuys supplier helpdesk at 1-855-800-5046 or support.oregonbuys@das.oregon.gov for assistance.
