Project eNewsletter | January 2022
|
|
2022 is off with a bang! January brought the start of engagements with agencies enrolled in Wave 1. These agencies completed their data collections and process designing for requisitioning and purchase orders. Their work now continues with more process designing for receiving and invoicing.
We're also happy to share that the project team finished the self-paced training modules for Phase II functionality. We're now focusing efforts on developing Wave 1 facilitated training that we'll hold in March.
Lastly, we want to share a reminder that we're currently in Phase II, Wave 1 of the project. This first wave is scheduled to Go-live in June 2022. Agencies enrolled in the second wave can expect to hear from us about a preparation forum that will take place in late Spring. Wave 2 will officially kick-off at the end of June.
OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement
After state agencies go through their wave, they will begin processing procurement-related and purchasing activities in OregonBuys. This will allow the capture of all statewide spend. Below are some examples of what this does and does not include. Items that aren't procurement-related will continue to be processed using existing agency methods:
New procure-to-pay functionality will roll out to state agencies in a series of three waves. This means agencies in Wave 1 will start placing orders via the OregonBuys system beginning in June.
As a supplier, please be sure to keep your account contact information up to date (especially email addresses) so you can receive notifications about purchase orders issued to you through the system.
