Throughout September, our team's efforts were focused on enterprise process inventory and process design. As part of this work, subject matter experts from 13 agencies helped us document the current state processes for requisitions. Over the next few weeks, we'll continue these efforts by capturing the process for purchase orders, receiving, and invoicing.
Once the enterprise work is complete, we'll concentrate on engaging with the agencies enrolled in the first wave. In case you missed it, here's a high-level overview of the project's Phase II timeline which includes three waves:
OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement
Phase II will release added procure-to-pay system functionality to groups of agencies in a series of three waves. Below is the list of agencies enrolled in wave 1, sorted by the categories we'll use to engage. Our agency liaison, Adam Helvey, will contact affected agencies with kickoff meeting details soon:

Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) is an early adopter of the OregonBuys eProcurement System. They launched the system in July 2019, and by the end of this week will celebrate processing over $250 million of spend through OregonBuys.
Capturing spend information is one of the overarching goals of the OregonBuys project. This information helps us better understand what the state of Oregon buys so we can identify areas where we can save money by negotiating better contract terms.
Please join us in congratulating ODF on their success!
