The COVID-19 outbreak has rapidly changed the way we all live and work. Many state employees have also taken on extra assignments to support critical services for Oregonians. The OregonBuys team is doing our part to help too, and we want you to know that we appreciate all you're doing in these uncertain times. Together, we will get through this!
Throughout March, our team focused efforts on OregonBuys version 15 testing. Version 15 is the latest software update that we need to apply to our production environment. We’re currently finishing three rounds of testing with R*STARS. Once this work is complete, we'll conduct a reconciliation review and then move to system functionality testing.
OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement
In January and February, the Project Team held kickoff meetings with large and medium-sized agency core teams. We’re now preparing for next steps of holding core team orientations. To be efficient, we're pairing agencies together based on business similarities, size, and geographical location. We’ve drafted a pairings list that will be presented to Designated Procurement Officers (DPOs) and then shared on our project website agency resources page. Please email the Project Team at oregonbuys.info@oregon.gov if you have questions or concerns about the pairings.

The April 8 OregonBuys forum is cancelled due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. Please watch our April newsletter for an announcement on the next forum date, location, and registration instructions.
