 OLCC refreshes Rulemaking Website
This past month, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) streamlined its rulemaking website to provide more transparency to Oregonians and licensees. These changes will improve customer service by providing more information to parties that could be impacted by OLCC rules.
The OLCC rules website now features:
-
A description of the rulemaking process.
-
All proposed, temporary, and permanent rules and the laws the OLCC is required to follow.
-
All public comments received during the rulemaking process and a description of changes made to the original rule as a result of public comment.
-
A public rulemaking planning calendar.
-
A description of the impact each rulemaking will have upon the agency’s workload.
The OLCC is committed to an informative rulemaking process that openly engages stakeholders and Oregonians. Revamping the rulemaking website is an effort to demonstrate this commitment while also providing more transparency. The OLCC annually engages in rulemaking to implement legislation and refine rules to meet its mission to promote both public health and Oregon businesses.
