OLCC Commissioners approve a satellite liquor store in Sunriver
PORTLAND, Ore. – At their monthly meeting on February 10, the Commissioners of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission approved a satellite liquor store in Sunriver. This is the second satellite liquor store in the pilot program. The first satellite store was opened in Cannon Beach. The pilot program is aimed at opening satellite stores to supplement communities where there may be a seasonal fluctuation in population such as increased tourism.
The Commissioners appointed liquor store contracts to the following retail sales agents:
1097, North Bend; Robert Dickey
1164, Portland-Downtown; Kimberly Saunders
Retail liquor agents are private, independent contractors; they are not state employees. The Retail Services Division of the OLCC works closely with liquor agents to help them understand and follow liquor regulations and store operating procedures.
The commissioners voted to approve the liquor licenses for the following businesses:
TNT Convenience Store, 5416 N. Vancouver, Portland; licensee is Haddas Andemariam Gebremichael.
Holgate Corner Mini Mart, 12710 SE Holgate St., Portland; licensee is Holgate Corner, LLC, Ying H. Chu and Darren L. Chu, members.
King’s Wild Bar & Grill, 13550 SE Powell Blvd., Portland; licensee is Andy D. Maes.
The Commissioners ratified the following stipulated settlements for permitting an employee(s) to mix, sell, or serve alcohol or supervise those who do without a service permit:
Amnesia Brewing, 832 N. Beech Street, Portland; will pay a fine of $2,475 or serve a 15-day liquor license suspension. Licensee is Amnesia Brewing, LLC; Kevin King and Kristina Heartman, members.
Cannon Beach Cookie Co, 239 N. Helmlock, Cannon Beach; will pay a fine of $1,815 or serve an 11-day liquor license suspension. Licensee is Longhouse, LLC, Cheryl Lerma, member.
Toby’s Sports Pub, 10120 SW Hall, #201, Tigard; will pay a fine of $1,485 or serve a nine-day liquor license suspension. Licensee is DITO, Inc.; John Widmer and Diana Widmer, corporate principals.
Pizza Hut, 2215 14th Ave. SE, Albany; will pay a fine of $1,485 or serve a nine-day liquor license suspension. Licensee is Pizza Hut of SE Kansas, Inc.; James Fugate, corporate principal.
Alexander OTB, 1712 NE Fairview Ave., Fairview; will pay a fine of $1,485 or serve a nine-day liquor license suspension. Licensee is Alexander OTB, Inc.; Anestis Polizos, Alexandros Polizos, and Olimpia Polizos, corporate principals.
