Call ahead for local Liquor Store hours on Thanksgiving

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Liquor Control Commission reminds customers that liquor stores in Oregon have the option to open on Thanksgiving Day; Thursday, November 24. State law provides that liquor agents have the discretion to be open or closed on Sundays and holidays. Veterans Day is one of the nine state holidays defined by state law.

The nine state holidays are: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
