OMMA has discovered an issue with the third-party vendor’s licensing software which may affect a small number of pending renewal applications for grower, processor and dispensary licenses.
The issue appears to be isolated to applications subject to a tiered fee exceeding the minimum application fee when OMMA approves them after the license expiration date. An error causes the vendor’s system to automatically and incorrectly update the license status to “expired.”
OMMA directed the vendor to prioritize correcting the issue and is taking necessary precautions to minimize the impact for affected licensees.
