Important Update for Commercial Licensees

Due to the recent licensing portal outage that affected agencies across the state and country, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority will grant extensions for licensees who were unable to submit a renewal application during the outage.

We have received confirmation from Thentia, the licensing software vendor, that the system issues that caused this outage have been resolved. However, the system outage has caused issues to arise. It will take time for technicians to identify and fix these issues. Therefore, you may not see fixes on the user end immediately, but rest assured, teams are working to correct them as quickly as possible. Please be patient and keep this in mind when you log in to Thentia.

Lastly, we are working diligently with Thentia to implement all the following changes:

  • All current licensees will receive an extension to submit renewal applications through Sept. 15.
  • Licenses with an expiration date between Sept. 2-7 are considered valid through Sept. 15.
  • Businesses whose renewal applications were rejected and whose resubmission deadline was between Sept. 2-7 have through Sept. 15 to resubmit a rejected application.
  • Don’t submit a renewal until Thentia fixes your license’s expiration date on the backend to comply with the extension. You will know that the issue has been resolved if the late fee is no longer applied at checkout.

  • If you submitted an application (new or renewal) during the outage and your credit/debit card was charged but the application didn’t process, please email a copy of the receipt to  OMMA will work with Thentia on this issue.
