Information regarding how to input testing results in Metrc for beginning inventory batches is below.
Beginning inventory must be assigned a package ID with a Metrc tag for each batch number on hand. A production batch number must be assigned. Then, follow the chart below.
IF... |
THEN... |
Products are in inventory on May 26, 2022 (Metrc deadline) and testing was done before May 26. |
Growers and processors may either:
1. enter a note in Metrc for the source batch packaging stating the testing lab name and sample number on the COA; or
2. ask the lab to upload the test results and COA. The package can be adjusted back up with a notation explaining it's accounting for the test sample.
|
The grower/processor asks the lab to upload the test results and COA. |
The grower/processors will create a test sample package (0.01 grams or 1 unit) in Metrc from the source package and manifest the test sample to the lab. The lab will then receive the test sample package in Metrc, and upload the results and COA. |
The lab needs to enter results in Metrc. |
The lab uses the CSV File Import or the LIMS via Metrc API integration. |
Metrc is hosting optional online and in-person seminars this week (May 3-6) for growers, dispensaries, processors, transporters and waste facilities.
You must be credentialed in Metrc to register for the optional seminars. Read our guide to getting started in Metrc to learn about that process.
Once you're credentialed, use the links to register to attend one of the seminars online or in person. You'll learn what you need to know to be Metrc-compliant by the May 26 deadline, which includes the opportunity to ask Metrc questions.
Recordings of the seminars will be available sometime soon after they're over.
Each seminar has the same agenda as others for the same license type, so there's no requirement or expectation to attend or watch more than one.
Seminars for testing laboratories will be May 17-18. Stay tuned for more details soon.
Scheduled Remaining Seminars
Pre-registration is required.
The optional seminars will be held in the Oklahoma Commons Auditorium, 375 N Broadway Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73102. It's next door to the Oklahoma State Department of Health Vital Records Will-Call.
No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium. Smoking and vaping medical marijuana or tobacco is prohibited in public places, including the auditorium and the area outside of it.
Self-paid parking is available in nearby public garages and metered spaces on the street.
