Take advantage of new features that make managing your business easier by logging into Thentia, our new licensing portal.
All licensees should have received at least one email from us about the new portal during the week of Jan. 24 -- look for a message from no-reply@omes.ok.gov or omma@public.govdelivery.com. Use the link in that email to set up your account in Thentia, which will have all of your business licensing information from the previous portal.
Be sure to look for the "Manage Business" button once you've logged in. From there, you can make changes to your information, review applications and more.

Veterans' Listening Session (Thursday, Feb. 24)
Join OMMA staff as we answer questions and listen to industry concerns and issues from U.S. veterans. The meeting is 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24. Click here to join on Microsoft Teams using a mobile device or computer.
OMMA Site Visit
One way to engage with OMMA is to request a site visit from staff. It's a good opportunity to bring our staff onto your turf, and talk about your priorities and challenges in the same setting where you work every day. Send an email to Stakeholder Engagement Manager Roderick Wright at Roderick.Wright@health.ok.gov to ask about setting one up.
When your business has an OMMA audit, it's important to have someone available who can provide access to information and physical spaces to OMMA auditors. The audit team must have access to the point of sale system, financial information, safes, locked rooms and more, and the audit can't be finished if there isn't an authorized staff member available with access to everything on site. If you have questions, send us an email at OMMAudit@ok.gov.
Have a product that failed safety testing? Growers, processors and dispensaries are required to report failed tests to the OMMA by emailing OMMALabs@ok.gov. Be sure to include the certificate of analysis (COA). Testing laboratories are required to use the Qualtrics system to report failed tests within two business days of the test, and must include the COA. OMMA laboratory staff will follow up if there are additional requirements.
Stay current on your OMMA and Oklahoma Tax Commission reports by remembering the monthly deadline -- the 15th of each month for required OMMA reports, and the 20th for tax reports. By the 15th of each month, your business data from the previous month is due to OMMA. By the 20th, your tax reports are due to the Tax Commission via the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point (OkTAP) portal.
Help yourself be as prepared as possible for an upcoming inspection by using the inspection forms and reference sheets on our website's Compliance page. There are different forms for different types of businesses, and you can use them to help be sure you're in compliance with OMMA rules. They can be particularly helpful if you have an inspection coming up -- most businesses will receive a 24-hour notice and a courtesy call before the inspection, giving you time to find the forms on the website and be prepared.
Did you know you can use OMMA Verify to look up a list of licensed medical marijuana waste disposal facilities and waste disposal permits? Working with a licensed waste disposal facility is how medical marijuana businesses comply with OMMA rules regarding waste products. Businesses can dispose of their own root balls, stems, fan leaves, seeds and mature stalks (or fiber from the stalks) using techniques approved by the state Department of Environmental Quality, along with proper OMMA-required documentation in your monthly reports. All other medical marijuana waste needs to be transferred to a licensed waste disposal business within 90 days. Get full details from our current rules.
