Get a Sneak a Peek at the
Vision 2020 Program
and
21st CCLC Sessions!
Wednesday, July 10th from 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Click here to plan your day with us at Vision 2020! Some helpful tips from your 21st CCLC Team:
- There will be several parking options - at your hotel, at the Convention Center or in one of the many lots in the downtown area. Plan to spend about $8 -10/day and don't forget to get a receipt!
- Remember...participating in Vision 2020 is an allowable grant expense.
- Bring your claims staff to the conference as a part of your team! MTW will be holding sessions on the Grants Management System to help you do everything from creating and amending a budget to submitting a claim.
- Don't be afraid to bring your technology! Several of our sessions will involve using your smart phones, Ipads and laptops! Bring them along - although you will be engaged in hands-on learning, these tools will be very helpful!
- If you see something else in the program that sparks your interest - Ag in the Classroom, Child Nutrition, or Technology - feel free to attend another session. One of the benefits of being a part of Vision 2020 is the wide range of offerings to meet your needs! Click here to see a preview of the full program!
- Another benefit of Vision 2020 is the great Key Note Speaker line up...Ryan Quinn, Ron Clark and Tony Wagner! To learn more about the speakers visit the website!
- The Cox Convention Center is notoriously chilly! Dress comfortably and bring a sweater!
- We will have certificates available for all 21st CCLC sessions, and if you attend another session you will find a general Vision 2020 certificate in your program. Remember, there is a grant requirement of 5 hours of afterschool specific professional development.
All of our 21st CCLC sessions will be at the Cox Convention Center, in rooms 9, 10, 11 and 12, on the northwest end of the 1st floor. The 21st CCLC Team will be available there all day, so stop by if you have any questions, or just want to say hello!
We look forward to seeing everyone!
