**NEW** Student Involvement in the IEP Virtual Workshop

There's no one-size-fits-all approach to transition planning. Students, teachers, and parents must work to identify creative ways for students to explore themselves, and their needs as they move swiftly towards their futures.

Student Involvement in the IEP process goes beyond a simple invitation to the table. In this workshop, teachers and stakeholders will gain an understanding of how individualized roles impact student contributions, and the steps they can take to support student involvement before, during, and after the IEP.

For more information see our Student Involvement in the IEP Process Flyer

**NEW** Oklahoma Autism Center - FBA Training

For students with challenging behaviors, a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) serves as the foundation for identification and development of supports, instruction, and intervention within a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The Oklahoma Autism Center will provide a qualifying specialized training in Functional Behavior Assessments on September 28th. While this training will be applicable for supporting all students, regardless of disability category, participants must also have attended the "Reducing Challenging Behavior for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder" on September 27th.

Costs associated with participation, including registration and travel, can be reimbursed through Project 613 applications.
