Dear Superintendent,

The FY 2021 Flexible Benefit Allowance (FBA) allocations have been adjusted (12/15/20) on the Oct. 1, 2020, data audit.  These allocations will now be based on the current year's staff.  If you do not have an adjustment on one or more of the FBA line items, then verify if the number of your personnel remained consistent.

The scheduled State Aid payment will continue to be effective Thursday, December 17, but this allocation adjustment caused the FBA December payment to be effective Monday, December 21, 2020.  In determining your December payment amount, remember to take your most current allocation minus the amount paid to date for this month's payment amount.
