Annual Statistical Report

District Superintendents,

The Annual Statistical Report (ASR) is now open. As you are aware, State Aid will be using student level data in the State Aid Funding Formula for the initial allocation for FY 2021 and the Oklahoma Report Cards that will be released in fall 2020 . It will no longer be necessary to complete the manually entered ASR, commonly referred to as the Traditional ASR. 

There have been two updates to the Student Level ASR:

1. It is no longer necessary to certify calendars.
2. Each site will confirm their data, which will include calendar data. The district will now have the ability to release specific sites without releasing the entire district.

We strongly encourage you to begin looking at your data now. Use the following information to ensure you are submitting accurate data.

• Make sure your Student Information System (SIS) is sending data correctly.
• Update your calendars in the district SIS to reflect any calendar changes due to emergencies (e.g. weather, excessive illnesses, building issues, etc.)
• Check the Validation Wizard, Ownership Wizard and STN Wizard in the Wave.
• Check 'Find Missing Students' to identify students coded incorrectly.

If you have any issues with sending data to the WAVE, please contact your local SIS vendor. If your vendor confirms the data you have sent is correct, please contact the Data Information Systems office or State Aid.
