FY 2020 Midyear State Aid Allocation

Dear Superintendent,

The FY 2020 Midyear State Aid Allocation (12/20/19) has been posted on the State Department of Education's Single Sign-On (SSO) application under Allocation Notices.

FY 2020 Midyear State Aid Formula Allocation $3,581.16
- Foundation Aid Factor of $1,825.76
- Salary Incentive Factor of $87.77
FY 2020 Initial Adjust. State Aid Formula Allocation $3,592.37 (Decrease of <$11.21>)
FY 2019 Midyear/Final State Aid Formula Allocation $3,435.76 (Increase of $145.40)

The FY 2020 Midyear Factor decrease was due to growth in FY 2020 First Nine-Weeks Average Daily Membership by 6,541 and an increase in the high year Weighted Average Daily Membership by 26,378.15. We also had an increase of $900,000 in the amount retained for Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarships pursuant to 70 O.S., Section 13-101.2. The State Total Adjusted Valuation used in the formula increased by $54.3 million, but the County 4-Mill collections decreased <$888,325> with seventy-five percent (75%) used as a chargeable. There were no changes in the other State Dedicated chargeables.
