IDEA Presents Art Cernosia

Art Cernosia, renowned expert in the IDEA, is presenting once again! The presentation will be head at the Renaissance Convention Center Hotel on Wednesday, October 23rd from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The Renaissance Convention Center Hotel is located off of 10 N Broadway Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102.

OSPA Updated Agenda

The OSPA 2019 Fall Conference will be held on October 25th, 2019. The theme this year is Contemporary Issues and Best Practices in School Psychology. The target audience is school psychologists, Directors of Special Services, teachers, school counselors, school resource officers, and school psychometrists. However, everyone is welcomed to attend!

Spanish language DD resource day

The DD Council and Family 360 Center are co-hosting a day for our metro area Spanish speaking families on developmental disabilities. Sept 23 9 – 3 pm at 6728 S Hudson (OK County Health Dept.

 This is a free event for 50 registrants and lunch is provided. All sessions will be delivered in Spanish.  A few resource tables are available. Please share this flyer via email and on your social media.  The topics for the day include:

Classroom Awareness

The Looking Glass, a mentor agency for Sooner Success has developed a guide for schools that offers lots of practical advice for teachers at the elementary level. One of the concerns raised by parents in the community last year was that they felt school often didn't know how to include them or support their participation in school activities.
